Sue-Ann Robinson Caddy handles federal and state criminal defense, as well as civil litigation.

She formerly served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Felony Trial Unit for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Florida. While working with the office of the State Attorney Ms. Robinson handled thousands of cases and tried over a hundred cases ranging from Driving under the Influence and Drug Offenses to Attempted Homicide. Sue-Ann Robinson has engineered her immense in court trial experience and insight gained from her work as a prosecutor to skillfully and aggressively represent those accused of crimes and to defend clients in civil litigation cases.

She is President of the T.J. Reddick Bar Association (Black Lawyers Association of Broward County, Florida), a Director for the Broward County Bar Young Lawyers Section and also serves on The Florida Bar Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers Division. In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar she is also a member of the Federal Bar, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. She is trained as a County Court Mediator.

In 2003, she graduated summa cum laude receiving a B.S.c in Finance and Business Administration from Florida A& M University. She is member of the second graduating class of Florida International University College of Law. During her matriculation at Florida International University College of Law she acted as the founder and President of the Caribbean Student Bar Association, Editor of the Chromatic Times Newsletter and President of the Board of Advocates Trial Team Division.

Ms. Robinson volunteers countless hours to various community based cultural and educational activities. Including serving on the lobbying committee for the Lake Hall School Grant, assisting in the Butler Street YMCA restoration project in Atlanta Georgia, and acting as the Barbadian Delegate at several International Coronation Events.

Ms. Robinson was named twice as a Coca-Cola Corporate Scholar a Florida Merit Scholar and is a recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award from the Black Law Students Association at FIU.

John Caravella Esq., is a construction attorney and formerly practicing project architect, representing architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and owners in all phases of contract negotiations and preparation, as well as full litigation and arbitration services.
Having originally earned his Associate in Construction Technology, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology, John Caravella spent a decade working in architecture as a project architect. Projects ranged from commercial and tenant renovations, to high end custom residences for highly respected architectural firms.
With the specific purpose of serving the legal needs of the construction community, John Caravella then earned his Juris Doctorate and is admitted to all state courts of Florida and New York. With over a decade of construction law experience, John Caravella now represents numerous architects, builders, and subcontractors.

Typical services include the drafting and preparation of multiple AIA Agreements, including critical negotiations with opposing counsel to close multiple construction deals of over $1M, representation of construction clients through successful prosecution of arbitration claims for payment on services rendered, as well as litigating various contract, bond, and lien claims.

Other typical matters include prosecuting or defending against various contract, lien, and bond claims, as well as assisting project owners dealing with defective construction.
In response to the growing needs of homeowners, John Caravella has also been actively defending foreclosure actions since 2008. Also through ongoing participation in lawyer training seminars detailing newly enacted court procedures, this firm has successfully represented clients through foreclosure litigation, settlement conferences, and workouts.

John Caravella is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Construction Law Committee, has been appointed to the Construction Industry Panel of Neutrals of the American Arbitration Association, writes for the Ft Lauderdale Construction Law Blog, and serves of counsel to the Robinson Caddy Law Group, P.A., on construction matters.
